A 'Divider' Page

I'm having a small book of the Ranch pages printed by Costco, to see how it looks in hard copy, and to see how I like their printing; they have a flat rate ($25) for a 30-page book, and I created this page to bring my count up to 30!  I plan to create similar pages as dividers for different times/locations as I complete the total album.

Brown's Moves

I'm so glad that Grandma kept a written record of all the moves she made between 1910 and 1934!!

Another Ranch page!

I realized that this 1920 Census showed the family at the Ranch!  Herbert & 'Jack' were there, as well as Peggy and her daughter Jeannie, after Peg was widowed, but before she & Jack were married.  On this census we can see Art Gookim as a neighbor, so maybe the cougar photo should have been on this layout!  :)

The Cougar

You can see that this is Grandpa and an Art Gookim with the cougar.  I included it with this 1930 census, because of the names of the roads - it appears that the ranch was on Gookim Gulch Road.  Internet research turned up the fact that Gookim Gulch was later known as Pine Canyon Road.

By 1930, Grandpa had traded the ranch for a 'court' in town; but on that census Herbert was living there, listed as a 'ranch hand'.

Almost finished scrapping 'The Ranch'!

I did a lot of layouts this week!  Nearly finished with the pages about the Ranch:
